Research and development of innovative solutions to protect various animal species, including bats and different bird species, that inhabit buildings in Berlin.

The final product was a booklet featuring typical construction details that demonstrate how to incorporate shelters for these animals into various building typologies and elements, such as façades and roofs.

The goal was to create a comprehensive resource of construction details that can be utilized by planners, architects, and building authorities without compromising the technical and structural integrity of buildings. This project was developed in collaboration with NABU Berlin
